My 1st Ever Book Haul

My first book haul!! So many people do these and I love them, but sadly I can’t afford to buy that many books, so this is over a six month period and it’s only 22 books. (I mainly read books from the library.) But I have been stepping up my book buying game in 2019, and hope to buy more in the future!

These are in no particular order, just how I have them arranged on my shelves!

The Crowns Fate by Evelyn Skye

Circle of Shadows by Evelyn Skye

And I Darken by Kiersten White

Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes

The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Ever the hunted by Erin Summerill

Eliza And Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor

Daughter of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor

Dreams of Gods & Monsters by Laini Taylor

Looking for Alaska by John Green

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

The Black Witch by Laurie Forest

The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

And there you have my first ever book haul! All 22 books! Kind of small for a whole six month span, but it’s the best I could do for now. Hopefully my next book haul comes sooner, and I can get more books. If you’ve read any of these let me know what you thought of them in the comments! Thank you and Happy Reading 🖤

  1. I’ve actually read a few of these books, and they’re excellent. I started listening to We Were Liars today, and it’s incredibly hard to put down!

Don’t feel bad not buying tons of books. Library hauls are a thing too and just as fun!

  2. Great haul! There are tons of here that I’ve loved and I hope that you enjoy all of these reads 🙂 Tbh, more than 50% of my salary goes towards fuelling my book obsession (haha it’s actually kind of terrifying) but I don’t have access to a library where I live (Indonesia) so it’s the only way for me! 🙈 If I had a library my shelves would be 90% emptier lol

  3. Great haul! And there are so many great books! I loved An Ember in the Ashes, Cinder and Throne of Glass! On my TBR list would be Looking for Alaska, as I try to read all of John Green’s books and also To all the boys I’ve loved before as I’m guilty of only having watched the film haha

  4. Never apologize for using the library. I use the library all the time and usually buy books when the library has its book sales in the fall and spring. Not only can you get the books you want but you can get them ridiculously cheap. Great selection though. There are few on this list I want to read.

  5. Thank you all for the supportive comments! It means a lot 🖤 I feel blessed to have a library 5 minutes from home with a truly amazing collection of books. I will never let a lack of funds stop me from reading! 📖
