Hello fellow bookish peoples! Getting back in to the proper swing of things I want to show you all the books I hope to get to in January! I have 10 books I would like to get to this month, but hopefully I end up reading more than that (I want to start the year off strong!)
I have a plan that I can hopefully stick to for 2020 and that is to do my own personal readathons every month. Something like a challenge/game to really motivate me to read and have fun! My mom (who is legally blind and can only listen to audiobooks) is going to try and do them with me, so that should be a lot of fun as well! For January the plan is to do a 25-in-five from January 1st – January 5th. If you’ve never heard of a 25-in-five it is basically where you try to read 25 hours within 5 days! It’s a lot harder than it sounds!! But I think it will be a fun motivator for the month and help me reach my goal faster!
Here are the 10 books I hope to read this month!
Mooncakes by Wendy Xu & Suzanne Walker

The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo

Romanov by Nadine Brandes

Renegades by Marissa Meyer

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Escaping From Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

The Storm Crow by Kalyn Josephson

White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Wicked Fox by Kat Cho

I am super excited to get reading this month and I hope I can read all of these and more! Do you have any books you hope to get to in January? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Reading 🖤
Ooh, Truthwitch looks good. Great list!

Great post Gabby and all the best with your reading this month!
I have finished two of the six books I intend to read in Jan, so its looking good so far. The only problem is that one of the books that I wanted to read is really expensive, so I’m wondering if I should shelve it..lets see 🙂

Wow! Two out of six is a really great start so far! If you can’t get to it now, you can always replace it with another book you really want to read that is easier for you to get!

Thanks Gabby 😊
Yeah I think that’s what I’m probably going to do for this book. If the kindle price doesn’t come down in the next week then I’ll just replace that one with something else 😊

I’ve loved every Christina Lauren book that I’ve read, so I’m sure I will love the unhoneymooners just as much! Romanov seems like a quick fun read, so I’m really excited for that too! 😄

I’m curious to see what you think of The Unhoneymooners, I’ve seen pretty mixed reviews!

I’ve heard mixed things as well. But I really think I’ll enjoy it if it’s anything like their other books!
