March Challenge Prompt #11

Hello fellow book lovers! I can not believe it’s already time to draw the 11th prompt! Coincidentally we are also down to 11 more days in this month. March is flying by, and I have been doing lots of reading! Im almost finished with my 7th book, so I am still pretty confident that I will complete this challenge by the end of the month. Let’s see what the next prompt will be!

“Read a mystery.”

I forgot I put this in the jar. Darn. I do not have many mysteries on my tbr. Maybe like two or three. Time to scroll through my entire Goodreads tbr.

All Your Twisted Secrets by Diana Urban

Goodreads Synopsis:

This thrilling debut, reminiscent of new fan favorites like One of Us Is Lying and the beloved classics by Agatha Christie, will leave readers guessing until the explosive ending.

Welcome to dinner, and again, congratulations on being selected. Now you must do the selecting.

What do the queen bee, star athlete, valedictorian, stoner, loner, and music geek all have in common? They were all invited to a scholarship dinner, only to discover it’s a trap. Someone has locked them into a room with a bomb, a syringe filled with poison, and a note saying they have an hour to pick someone to kill … or else everyone dies.

Amber Prescott is determined to get her classmates and herself out of the room alive, but that might be easier said than done. No one knows how they’re all connected or who would want them dead. As they retrace the events over the past year that might have triggered their captor’s ultimatum, it becomes clear that everyone is hiding something. And with the clock ticking down, confusion turns into fear, and fear morphs into panic as they race to answer the biggest question: Who will they choose to die?

How did I forget about this one? I’m actually really excited to read this. I don’t read mysteries often but as soon as I read the synopsis for this I knew I had to read it. It sounds so thrilling and I can’t wait to see what happens! Plus this is a brand new release and I love reading new releases!

What mystery would you choose to read? I really enjoy mysteries, so I’m not sure why I don’t have more on my tbr. Recommend me some good ones please!! Happy Reading 🖤
