It’s that time of the year again! It’s time for the first part of the Magical Readathon hosted by BookRoast! Last year was my first time participating, but I had so much fun! I’m so glad it’s time for the O.W.L.s. If you have no clue what I’m talking about here are some helpful links:

G from book roast always puts so much time and effort to make this readathon amazing and fun for everyone, so definitely check out those links and show her some well deserved love!
Now that you know what the readathon is all about let me tell you what career I’m picking and what books I’ll be reading!

My career choice is an Auror! Last year I completed both my OWLs and my NEWTs in order to become a Magizoologist. This year I wanted a harder task, and what better than a magical crime fighter? This career will require me to read five books, BUT I wanna be extra and get some more qualifications in the wizarding world. I also want to try and obtain my Animagus license, Dragon Tamer license, and learn the language of the merpeople to help me with my detective career!

As you can see I am very ambitious! But I’m really glad G added these extra qualifications so we can have some extra fun! Now lets get into my tbr!
The exams I will be sitting for are:
Charms – Read a book with a white cover

The Court of Miracles by Kester Grant
Defense Against The Dark Arts – Read a book set ate sea

Seafire by Natalie C. Parker
Herbology – Read a book that starts with an I

Into The Crooked Place by Alexandra Christo
Potions – Read a book under 150 pages

Paper Girls Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan
Transfiguration – Read a book that has shapeshifting

Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin
Arithmacy – Read something outside of your favorite genre

The Chosen by Taran Matharu
Read an extra book with Dragons

The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli
Im super excited to be participating in the magical readathon again this year! Are you participating this year? What career are you going for? Thanks for checking out this post! Happy Reading ๐ค
I’m so excited for the O.W.L’s it’s my favourite readathon. I’m going for Trader of Magical Tomes.

Possibly Animagus Training. Depends if I have time around my actual real exams, which are much less fun than the O.W.Ls.

This is my first year participating and I’m so excited! I’ve chosen my career to be Trader of Magical Tomes. I wanted to slightly challenge myself, but not make it super hard for myself since this is my first year.

Looks like a great TBR for the readathon! I’ll be joining again this year as well! ๐ Not 100% decided on a career yet, but I think I’ll go for Mage of Visual Arts and do the Dragon Tamer training as well.
G has made a clarification about the Herbology prompt. You’ve might have seen it, but if not I just want to give you a heads up. The font makes it looks like an I, but it’s supposed to be M. I thought it was an I as well when I first read it!

OMG I did not know about the M! Thank you for letting me know!!
Also that would be a really cool career! I wish you lots of luck with this readathon! ๐๐

yayyy! i love the auror career. last year, for newts, i chose the auror one too. itโs such an interesting career in my opinion, even though itโs a very dangerous one, hahah.
i really liked the idea of the extra courses, but sadly i didnโt have any books in my TBR that could fit the said prompts. but i still really like the idea of them.
iโll be looking forward to your review of wolf by wolf. i really liked it, even though i ended up not continuing on with the duology. i just liked it more as a standalone. the characters are very different but really nice.
good luck on your TBR! ๐

Overall it was quite enjoyable. Some parts I found slower, but for the most part I really liked it. 4 Stars! ๐
