Hello fellow book lovers! I have seen a lot of people doing posts about the books they want to read soon due to having a lot of extra time right now. I thought that seemed like a lot of fun, but I wanted to do a little twist on it. I have way too many unread books on my shelf right now and with the libraries closed currently, now is the perfect time to get to some of those! So here is a list of just some of the books I own that I want to read soon.

Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor

Around the world, black hand prints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky.

I own all three books in this series and would love to get to them soon. I already know I will love them because I adore Laini Taylor’s writing. They are just some very big books, so I have been putting it off for some time. I can’t wait to dive into this series.

Scythe trilogy by Neal Shusterman

Thou shalt kill.

I own the first two books in this trilogy and would happily buy the third if I enjoy the series enough! I have been meaning to pick this up for quite a while now, and no time like the present, right?

I am admittedly not the biggest fan of sci-fi, but this series has been so highly talked about that I bought the first book to give it a try. But then it’s been months and I still haven’t picked it up so I definitely need to get to it soon!

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

The fact that I have been putting this book on my tbr for MONTHS and still haven’t actually picked it up is astonishing and I am ashamed. But that is why it is going on this list and why I will definitely make it a top priority to get to soon!

The idea of this one seemed so cool so I picked up the first book in the series. Can’t wait to start this one!

The Queen’s Rising duology by Rebecca Ross

I bought both books in this duology mainly because of the stunning covers, and of course they sounded very interesting. I would like to get to both books in the very near future!

This book seems very interesting and I believe it is a series. I picked it up on sale one day and I hope to read it soon.
